SUPER BLUE FULL MOON IN LEO | 31st January 2018

The word Ostara is just one of the names applied to the celebration of the spring equinox. The origin comes from Eostre, a Germanic goddess of spring, although the changing of the seasons has been widely celebrated by cultures around the World throughout history, as a time of renewal and rebirth. Equinox marks a balance point in the year with equal hours of day and night, and from this point the hours of Sunlight increase.

natural rhythms

This collection is inspired by the cycles of nature, the seasons, and by the world at large within the cosmos.

Each piece is made in celebration of a moment in time within the larger universal order. I wake up early to watch the sun rise, meditate and then sit down to create until a piece comes together from out of that flow state.

I have no preconceived idea in mind of what to make, and don't go back to revisit the design on a later date. It is an expression of that unique moment in time.
