Re:Cenre Artist residency exhibition, london | October 2018

Invited to participate in the Re:Centre artist residency programme we'll be showcasing work produced around the theme of HEROES in October. A hidden oasis of calm in the heart of the city nestled next to the River Thames, Re:Centre is an unique space worth visiting. More nearer the time.

whitecross street party, London | july 2018

Commissioned by the Curious Duke Gallery to produce a piece of art celebrating the theme of 100 years since women gained the vote in the UK for of the Whitecross Street Party. TWO WOLVES was my response up on the corner of Banner Street & Whitecross Street EC1 for three months. I decided to work with the idea of equality, and that it's up to us to be active participants in shaping our society. I was inspired by this Cherokee proverb.

An Old Cherokee told his grandson "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth."

The boy thought about it, and asked. "Grandfather, which wolf wins?"

The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed."

Art below summer show @ Herrick gallery, London | june 2018

I was invited to talk about my work along with some of the other artists exhibiting at the Art Below Summer Exhibition as part of the #MayfairArtWeekend #MAW2018 event programme. It was fascinating to hear people speak in depth about their responses to the Digital Age theme... This photo caught me mid flow on the power of symbolism, intension setting, making space to timeout and how art helps us do this.

With a wide range of international artists and its various campaigns in cities worldwide, Art Below has an important position within the movement of contemporary art in public space. Art Below uses billboard space in underground stations turning ad space into artspace in London and overseas - the group has nurtured an international community of artistic talent in London, Tokyo, Berlin and Los Angeles.

As part of this exhibition my artwork was on display at Hyde Park Corner Tube Station in Central London.

Lost Weekend Munich 2018.jpg

Lost weekend takeover, Munich | April 2018

In a collaboration with the Bamboo Bicycle Club  the Lost Weekend Take Over showcased that sustainability and cutting edge design go hand-in-hand.

Founded through a love of bicycles and engineering, BBC give everyone the opportunity to build a bike from scratch regardless of age and experience. They are committed to enabling people build innovative bikes out of bamboo, with profits re-invested in R&D they work closely with universities and educational programmes to further enable others.

My shared belief in sustainable design brought us together, and is the reason my artwork is printed on 300gsm BAMBOO paper from Hahnemuehle who have been crafting internationally acclaimed fine art papers for over 400years.
